Registering

Country Couples is different from most dating websites. For a start we don't charge, although we do hope you'll donate to help pay the site running costs. CC is not affiliated to any other friendship/dating site so you'll only find members here who have actually registered with us.

Now that you've read the boring stuff (yes, we hate Terms & Conditions as well but they're a necessary evil) it's time to register. PLEASE check that you enter your correct email address - we get lots of activation emails returned to us saying the email was undeliverable and we have no way of contacting the prospective members.

Another problem that sometimes occurs is that you click Save and it doesn't work and your password has disappeared! This just means that you missed out one of the fields - often the Captcha (copy HJDPT etc.) or ticking the box to say the Terms have been read. The password and sometimes the D.O.B. disappear for security reasons and you just need to re-enter them and check through the form again.

Please take the time to complete your profile properly - when we check before approving profiles we use what you have written to help us decide if you are genuine and later later later isn't helpful!

If you join and then decide CC is not for you then leaving is easy - there's a button on your homepage which will remove you from the site completely but please don't then email and say you've changed your mind, we can't retrieve you so you'll need to re-register.
