Of course some relationships with work colleagues work out Mike but they can just as easily go horribly wrong, hence the need for rules.

The real rule should be not to do it. It is risky at the least and you have a lot to lose. It really messes with everyone else in the office as well.

Dating in the work scene is very difficult! It causes too much drama and rumors passed around. Jealousy is also a lot of trouble. It is very risky so enter into a relationship at work at your own risk.

Many people meet someone at work because it’s simply the place you are in most social contact with others, that’s what happens when career becomes the main focus in our lives.

Good advice! After dating a teacher where I worked as a technician, I would strongly advise not doing that either.

Half the office where I work at the moment seem to be dating each other, it makes me wonder why they don’t cast their nets a bit wider
