I do agree that most successful long term relationships involve continued effort after the honeymoon period has faded. When you first met your lover I bet you were filled with excitement. They could do no wrong and none of their quirks bothered you or were visible.Same attitude should be maintained for a ever lasting love but with understanding on both sides

I must say its a great post. I would like to add that for any relationship communication is very important. So always take some time to sit down and speak to your partner. Remind him/her of how lovingly the relationship started off. Speak to them about the negative tone of the relationship. Tell them the tone must change so that both parties will feel loved and cherished.

Completely agree with what you have mentioned in this post that most successful long term relationships involve continued effort after the honeymoon period has faded. It is true that you have to put lot of efforts and can not take it for granted. It is essential to continue to admiring each other, find the right balance.

Very interesting article indeed! I am sure lot of viewers will practice it in their real life. I fully agree that we share our troubles with our partner and we all need some “me” time but don’t let it become a daily habit. Very well said 'A relationship which is the same old, same old every day, without an element of entertainment, will quickly begin to sour'. Nice post!

It seems so typical to blame divorce on this seemingly magical period that supposedly just goes away. The couple decide how entertaining they are to each other... thanks for the love tip.
