What a lovely list. As a lady I much prefer receiving something list those than anything else. I had one boyfriend spend over 200 quid on flowers for me and I had to grin and bare it – what a waste of money when he could have done something more thoughtful like go pick his own…or cooked me a nice meal

I think it is another money making scheme, but you still feel as if you have to do something for valentines day. I do like your idea with the love list and I think my partner would really like and appreciate something like that.

One of the best valentine gestures I have found is the following:

(1) Take some anti-fog spray and spray on the mirror of the bathroom that gets fogged up when a shower is taken.
(2) Take a Q-tip and write a valentine day message in the area where the anti-fog spray was put on.
(3) When the shower fogs up the mirror your message will show up.

Some people have claimed to use Rain-x anti fog spray for the best results.

What i lovely idea! I must admit i have tried a few of these before. The scattering of the petals, the cheeky messages but after time i have begin to run out of ideas. I think i may have to try the kitchen roll love letter next or maybe even the love vouchers. And kirsty your idea of the i love you in the different languages, think i may yhave to use that one at our wedding. Thank you very much for sharing

I think out of those items – the love list has to be the most special. Its so personal and so intimate. People love hearing about what people like about them, it soothes insecurities, and they can read it whenever they feel insecure in the future.
