The Art of Shooting with Dogs

A Competition to Hunt, Flush, Shoot and Retrieve your own game with the best enthusiasts of the UK. Each competitor is required to own at least one dog in his/her team. Competitors for the POLMAISE CUP are invited from all quarters, whether Field Trial - Gundog Clubs -Shooting Clubs – Beaters - Pickers Up or Rough Shooter…. All Are Welcome.

WINNER WILL RECEIVE THE POLMAISE TROPHY & £500.
SECOND PLACE TROPHY & £200.
THIRD PLACE TROPHY & £100.

First stage will be held October 2008
The Final competition January 2009
Both venues will be held in Central Scotland
Competition Entry Fee is inclusive of 2 dogs and Game shot
Entry closing date 30/6/08.
The Competition has already attracted entrants from all over the country,and fired up some shooters that have been innactive for a long time.
The Polmaise Cup committee has been formed. This is a non commercial venture created to encourage and promote the art of shooting with dogs. All funds are either donated/sponsored/or raised by committed likeminded sportsmen and women.
