Well done to the RSPCA! I don’t understand why this sentence wasn’t extended to the keeping of other animals like birds.

This a terribly short when you consider the suffering he has inflected. It amazes me how you can get 20 years for robbing a bank and 6 months for mistreating 40 horses.. The law needs to be changed!

Well it is good news that justice has been done though the sentence really does not reflect the crime in my opinion.

Any animal cruelty should be more heavily punished than the current laws allow.

At least in this instance the right signals are being given out.
