SALLY - I live on my family's cold farm in Cumbria and I love it. However, one of the things I noticed after moving here, a few years ago now, was how difficult dating in Cumbria is. The local pub tends to have the same regulars playing dominoes, families having dinner out and as the years creep on everyone you meet is married, so at the suggestion of my Mum I gave online dating a go.

I joined the usual large sites - not realising until later that their high membership totals are gained from 'invented' members and affiliation with other sites. That is when my personal crusade began.
